Linda Willson, of CreditExpertWitness.com is one of the truly few lifelong credit professionals spending the last 27 years working for Equifax, one of the three national credit reporting agencies.

During her time spent at Equifax Linda performed the following duties:

• Various marketing positions, which involved managing and developing products from the credit database and reviewing credit reports.
• Spent 12 years managing the Equifax Credit Information Services and Fair Isaac (FICO®) alliance. Fair Isaac is widely recognized as being the creator of the credit score.
• Product manager for FICO scores sold via Equifax. This included the classic risk model used by the vast majority of US lenders, FICO's next generation risk score, FICO's insurance credit scores, FICO's marketing scores include revenue and attrition scores.
• Roles as FICO product manage included model enhancement recommendations, updating Fair Isaac to Equifax credit file data changes, sampling Equifax credit data for model development and redevelopment, model installation, creating and maintaining FICO marketing and sales materials, conducted internal and external product training, product support and pricing. Also tracked revenue and royalties and managed and policed the FICO contracts with Equifax.
• Linda conducted training to Equifax sales and sales support on scoring basics (Scoring 101) and FICO credit score basics. Portions were used to train credit grantor staff as well.
• Developed sales materials and conducted sales training on the use of credit data and insurance scores for underwriting purposes.
• During her time Linda answered thousands of questions from sales staff and customers regarding scoring and credit file content.
• Developed sales and customer guides on FICO products, including FAQ's on FICO scores.
• Familiar with credit regulations such as ECOA, Reg B and FCRA.
• Commonly known as the FICO score expert at Equifax and was referred to as the "FICO Lady."
• Extensive experience reading and interpreting credit reports with knowledge of how credit data is reported, compiled, maintained, scored, archived and delivered raw data within the credit database.
• Performed credit report comparisons at different points in time to determine reasons leading to score changes.
• Extensive experience with credit reports from competing credit bureaus Experian and TransUnion.
• Advised and provided information to Equifax legal department regarding law suits involving credit data related to scoring.
